The Bloomington Thrift Shop is a nonprofit store that has been serving the Bloomington area for over 75 years. All of our profits are donated back to the community through grants to many worthwhile groups in Monroe County.
Last year we were able to donate over $25,000. So when you donate items to our shop or make a purchase at the Bloomington Thrift Shop you are helping us give back to our community.
We have a great selection of gently used, high quality clothing for women, men and children at a great price. From casual to professional we have it all and our selection changes daily.
You donations make our shop possible. We accept gently worn clothing, housewares, books, shoes, small furniture items etc. We do not accept electronics such as TVs or computers. You can bring donations to our back door anytime the shop is open.
And we have a great selection of clothing to ease you into cooler weather. Check back often as we continue to add coats, jackets and more sweaters.
The Bloomington Thrift Shop is run by Psi Iota Xi philanthropic sorority. We are a group of dedicated women who like to give back to our community. We also meet throughout the year for educational programs and social events. (On ZOOM for the time being)
